The COVID-19 pandemic has had an unprecedented impact across the nation and the globe. In response to the shockwave felt across Purdue Athletics, the John Purdue Club launched the More Than A Game campaign.

The funds raised by the More Than A Game campaign will help offset a Purdue Athletics budget shortfall that could approach or exceed $50 million. The support provided during this campaign will aid Purdue Athletics as everyone looks to avoid and minimize sport elimination, job elimination, and similar occurrences that we have seen across the country.

To launch this campaign, I built a microsite with Squarespace, JPCMoreThanAGame.com. I wrote a press release and distributed it to our media partners. In coordination with our social media team and video team, we launched a campaign video across the JPC and Purdue Sports platforms featuring our athletics director and other celebrity alumni.

Although I wish we never had to launch a campaign like this, I am humbled and grateful that we had the opportunity to make a difference.
